Diving Update

Tomorrow I am seeing two other specialist here in town to get another opinion, more than likely tomorrow I will start taking Cortisone to help decrease the inflammation since my other drugs that I have been taking have not worked well so far. There is one other treatment that I am receiving called The Hyperbaric Chamber. Have you ever heard of it? If not what it does is that this chamber generates oxygen at a level higher than the atmospheric pressure. This causes the oxygen bubbles that were not compressed properly while I was diving to pop and release that pressure from my ear. There have been great results in the past with this for divers; I guess they use it quite frequently so we are all hoping with this method I gain it back!

Me personally I am doing great, it does not hurt at all. The only thing that bothers me is the BOOMING sounds that I have; it is a sharp noise that won't stop. But other than that it's like nothing for real to what it could feel like. I am staying super positive about this issue and knowing that day by day I AM getting better and healing faster!

ps. this was a picture taken right before the accident with my beautiful niece!
